I originally made this site for my group in Madison, Omulu Capoeira but now I see that it is ranked as the 5th in a google search for Capoeira! So I will give this page some more attention. Also, if you got here from Google, you probably misspelled it. Check again.

If so, look no further. In fact, stop looking. Capoeira is becoming increasingly popular around the world right now and it brings my website a lot of internet traffic. I see what people are searching for when they come here. Many search for "Capoeira Moves" and "Learn Capoeira". Capoeira is a dance, a conversation, and a fight... and it takes more than one person. Capoeira is also an extremely rich cultural experience... That's not something you can learn from an internet site.
Having said that... if you want to learn Capoeira, I think that's great. It's beautiful and it is one of the most wholesome things you could do with your time. You need to look for a group near you. Here is a good place to start looking or here
Want to see videos and pictures?
While I think you are missing the point if you try to learn from the internet, I do admit it's fun to watch people do crazy moves and it is helpful to see how people string moves together and the different styles that are around. For that, I can think of no better site than Chimps Capoeira Page I also have some pictures up and a movie of the omolu group
